I started on this back in August because after spending a decade+ in a polo-shirt-prison, I needed to redefine my aesthetic, and I've been a punk at heart ever since Pretty Fly (for a white guy) introduced me to The Offspring all the way back in middle school.

It only had a few patches on it at first, but I've been slowly accumulating and adding more. Mostly thru Etsy, a few I picked up at Furpocalypse over Halloween weekend.

When I first put it on and looked in the mirror, I was shocked: for the first time in, idk, ever? I looked like myself. I had never imagined how much a vest could do to improve how I feel about myself. It's not armor, it's my skin.

I love wearing it around town. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it.
