Well, been long enough I suppose? >P
I kind of lost interest in modeling for a while in favour of other things (like, keeping hot water and eating), but with the news of mesh being released soon on Second Life I figured now would be a good time to finish my tiger avatar.
I'm not a big fan of weight painting. Having finished (I feel I am at least) and having arranged him in various silly poses, I figured the last thing I could do to mark the occasion was take a picture of my guy in a very awkward pose to show the worst of the weighting issues.
The weight painting was done in Blender 2.57, and I hear 2.58 will feature a COLLADA exporter that works with SL's mesh importer, but there's supposedly also a way to link this file to a 2.49b scene and export that way properly. We'll see.
Last step is to unwrap and texture this sucker... Any texture artists out there? >.>
