More art of Topher Todd hanging out by the river, featuring one of my photos from an evening in late October 2024. I had no idea that during the renovations and upgrades to that bridge, they had added some decorative lighting.

Despite how uneasy the river makes me, it seems that the normally very calm and laid-back Topher has become associated with the riverfront, somehow.
I do have a handful of happy memories of the park this particular walkway is part of. In years past, the riverfront and this park in particular hosted some sort of powerboat races and a yearly barbeque festival, and these events included a variety of concerts (mostly acts that were clearly considered "oldies", I saw Alice Cooper in concert in the park in the late 2000s with a friend of mine), and is still the site of the yearly county fair and the city's fireworks festival.
I never attended any of the festivals proper, but the restaurant in the background used to be a Hooters and was commonly the site of car shows in the 1990s, hosted by a local oldies station. Little single-digit-aged me had a hat signed by many of the announcers from said radio station since I was quite a fan of the station and the music it played (seeing as my parents had that station on all the time) and I loved seeing all the cars, but that hat and the innumerable other magnets, bumper stickers, and other miscellaneous bits of swag I was given during my encounters with them has long since been lost to time.
The blurriness of the photo is a quirk of my phone's decent but unremarkable camera, yet it seems to work well here.
