Meine gefesselten Lieblingsbären 3: Tundra Bear
The third bear at my stakes is an anthro version of the bear from "Balto" © Amblin.
His design with the 1930s poster kind of shading and coloring was cool.

Wonderful, wonderful stuff. It's always interesting to see artists tackling a more feral design into something anthro and retain the personality and tone. This guy was always rather scary and imposing, and he's retained that for sure here, even if that attire makes him look rather handsome.
He looks like some sort of demanding trainer or explorer of some sorts who finally had luck turned him over, and how has to deal with the fact no amount of angry growls and menacing looks will help him.

I guess he was looking for revenge against Balto and Jenna but ran into a vengeful White Wolf Mother of Balto ... doubt those Phil Collins bears could have done this.
All that's missing is for the Bob Hoskins Goose to put the windup cat toy in front of him in a seemingly endless loop. XD
Thanks for the memories. ;)

...He looks like he'd have a very notable case of what we call "Resting Bitch Face" in English, not sure if there's an equivalent in German but to continue!
Since he looks like he'd have resting bitch face, he feels like if he had you over for company, you'd be nervous and shaking the entire time both because he's very fearsome-looking, and you are very desperate to make sure you please him so that you don't anger him because of that fearsome resting bitch face. And you've probably figuratively shit your pants 20 times throughout the entire time you spend with him before going home. Which was probably 20 minutes.

There is no word on word equivalent to this term. The closest would be "Schlafender Hund" or "Schlafender Tiger" - sleeping dog/sleeping tiger, where a quote states, that none of them should be woken up, or else it means big trouble.
I prefer not to imagine the mess in the pants after those said 20 minutes...

I did say figuratively! There would be nothing in the pants, it's an expression in US English to mean that's how frightened you are. Basically losing it mentally.
A similar expression in English is "Shit the bed", in UK English it's an expression of surprise, in US English it means you made a mistake and everyone kinda knows and sees it. The second version of the US English expression is basically "You made a really bad mistake".
So now you know what it means whenever someone of US English language says that about something!
E-er...what I meant by "Resting Bitch Face" is usually used when one's awake, it refers to one's relaxed face not looking very friendly at all, in fact it looks oddly hostile.
But if that does still apply, then I totally understand! I actually like that German expression or quote to describe one's hostile-looking relaxed face.

Good to see another of the characters from Balto taking their place of honour in one of your bound series of artworks, with Tundra Bear looking just as menacing and imposing in this anthro version, even if currently bound. Though given his fluffiness and currently being restrained, he's perhaps considering that there may be those tempted to take advantage of the situation so he's hoping that his death glare will be enough to ward off any who might dare to ruffle his chest fur.
