Lay ''Abandoned Garden'' by LtDWW
A kind of sequel to this pic -- https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58207337/
🥀 Even adults can get lost in a place like abandoned gardens. Toddler me didn't know what was to come, because when I ventured to the mountainsides years later and found myself exploring an abandoned garden in the middle of the night, I got heavy flashbacks from my misadventures as a four-year-old cub. At least now I'm strong enough to defend myself if I run into any fellow wild animals potentially roaming this area in search of food. The few lanterns and stepping stones serving as paveways, give away the fact that this was once, in fact, a serene walking park for people -- and potentially their pet dogs as well. I'm not one of those -- I'm a young Arctic Wolf with a nose for exploration of abandoned places such as this one. What catches my interest on occasion, is the rustling of the big leaves that belong to the vegetation-covered tunnels, which seem to get larger with every one of my new visits, swallowing this place whole. Another point of interest, would be the arrhythmical on-and-off flickering of some of the lanterns, due to a lack of proper electricity supply, hanging from wooden structures found standing alongside what remains of the main pavement road. Above my head, although they seem invisible, are thousands of crickets making a loud noise that sounds like singing in a chorus, a final slither of life, that refuses to leave this forgotten paradise of grass, greenery and waterholes. The occasional flower pops up here and there from under the green natural blanket, giving this abandoned place a bit of a needed boost in attractiveness. Even though nowadays the park gets its beauty mainly from the way Mother Nature reclaims this place -- as supposed to what things people put here in order to make it more inviting for visitors of the park -- the various items and structures that people DID place here, do help a little bit in giving this location its former beauty back, even if only by a little bit.
