Just getting back into the groove of Meli, as well as some basic stuff about the ragdolls.

Hair can be fabric or yarn/rope, depending. Hair's actually something that isn't grown, but is in fact added on. (So Meli's hairstyle/hair color is actually something she can change at will, like a wig.)

Tongue is fabric-based. Teeth are unknown, but are pretty sharp and made for ripping into things. Ragdolls are scavengers, typically eating bodies of sentient creatures. They've got a Pinocchio complex, I guess you could say, with wanting to be viewed as 'real' creatures instead of man-made beings.

Add the fact that they can disappear into shadow/dark areas at will and travel through a dimensional pocket they call the dark, the ragdolls aren't viewed in such a positive light. They're essentially the world's bogeymen, without meaning to be.
