Here is my work on my foot paws for you all to admire, not really. I thought I would demonstrate my technique that I use and for my first foot paws this one didn't come out too bad.
Picture 1 is the foamed shoes that I used to show them off. I sewed and hot glued the elastic bands over the tongue of the shoe so they will stay on my feet without having to tie the laces or anything special. Remember to take note of the way you want your fur to lay on the foot to look normal not all goofy.
Picture 2 is the furring of the toes. I cut a strip of fur the same height as the toes and started from one side and wrapped it across down to the base of the split in the toe I cut.
Picture 3 is the progress to get the ankle to stand up. Yes it might look a little funny but as soon as you tuck it under a pant leg or fursuit leg it looks just fine. Pic 3a is what I did to the fur used to get it to wrap nicely across. I just cut a T shape just high enough to clear the top of the shoe and low enough to cover up the opening of the shoe.
Picture 4 is the finished product of one foot ready to be worn. I still need to put bottoms to these feet but for now they look just fine from above.
Hope it helped some of you trying to make feet paws and enjoy the feets.
