I won't presume full-on intrastellar sci-fi is among your pleasures or that you might've already had a peek at The Expanse's six-season (presently, on extended hiatus but currently with a definite ending if it never gets back to production) adaption to television, but I enthusiastically recommend it.

When I found out that the novel series was written by an author who loved the genre and it was derived from one of his gaming tables, and its main characters were immediately or directly based on the game sessions' PCs and NPCs- even writing out of the tale during production more than one character whose player had been part of their gaming sessions but were unable to contact them or the player politely declined for personal reasons, they affirmed and immediately respected their decision, excluding them from the script and tale- I knew this was written by creative kinfolk and fellow far-conspirators of mine after a fashion, and it was going to be good.

And it is good. (Probably helped that it was filmed almost entirely here in Toronto, Ontario, but I'm allowed my bias, being a local GTA bean.)
