An incredible pic of my God of the Seas, Mateo DelMar, from my upcoming graphic novel (Avalon). In creating the character, I drew inspiration from classical mythology, alongside textures and themes commonly associated with the ocean.

Although more laid back and peace-seeking than many of his fellow gods, Mateo doesn't hesitate to use the full power of his aquakinesis in the defense of his friends or the oceans he loves. Make no mistake-this living tsunami is no Aquaman, and you won't find him on the sidelines when the battle takes to the land!
