After being unfortunately shrunk down to a pebble, you met up with Clauneck, who runs the tarot shop that offers great powers and possibilities. However, these cards are not chosen by you, but by fate itself, meaning that luck may not always towards you. Unfortunately, the fates decided that an ant like you will need to be rid of, somehow.
Another shortened story featuring Clauneck from Cult of the Lamb, which I barely saw being utilized for macro/micro related pieces despite the possibilities the character can have. Oh well, just like he says: "You cannot argue with the draw. One might as well argue with the ocean."
As you were given three random, giant cards placed right in front of you, Clauneck stared down at you, his legs crisscrossed with a soft sigh coming out of his jagged beak. He smiled softly before speaking again.
"Do not be afraid to pick, as the fates will decide on what will happen with both of us. I am sure that it will benefit your enjoyment too."
You looked at them before getting near the card on the right, trying to pick it up, but obviously couldn't be done due to your tiny size. Clauneck would pick it up along with you dangling from the top of the card, as it showed a foot print with an ant under it, revealing what your fate will be.
"The fates have spoken..."
You were placed back down to the ground. Soon, Clauneck slowly got up, softly groaning before raising his foot above your tiny figure. It looked dark like the rest of the forest, so you expected yourself to be within the sole of the foot at any possible moment...
