Espio is one of a small number of mobians who can use chaos emeralds stably and without serious consequences
Mostly due to his ability to concentrate and abstract from external and internal triggers
Espio cannot control emeralds as effectively and for as long as Sonic or Shadow, but over many years he has developed this ability to an impressive level
In super form he can hide not only himself, but also other objects of different scales
In my AU the emeralds are distributed among the main cast of the Resistance and they themselves decide where to hide the stones, so that in case of a new villain appearing, it would be more difficult to collect them
one of the emeralds is kept by Espio, which his colleagues were unaware of for a long time
