Next year will be the 10th anniversary since Build-A-Bear’s Honey Girls released (which was part of my childhood), so I figured I should make art of how I would imagine the trio! And as usual, I also added more to their personality and story since I really think they deserve much more than what was given to them so far. There’s also not a lot of fanart of them (even compared to other obscure media like Adventures in Pocketville), so I helped fill in the void.

Teegan Luciana Tabbyfield is a cat/tiger mix who is the lead singer and keyboardist of her band. Alongside her friends and bandmates Risa and Viv, she’s also a producer for her band, and the Honey Girls is their collaborative project that helps bring a unique sound to the music scene yet not adhering to the standards and conventions often heard in mainstream music. She’s a huge fan of all things retro and shiny, and is especially a big fan of both old music from the 80s-2000s and obscure music from around the world. Her voice is very versatile with a wide vocal range, and her singing in her music can range from soft to passionate and from alto to soprano.

She’s known as a fearless and bold natural-born leader to all those who are familiar with her group, though off-stage she tends to be a bit anxious, especially when in unfamiliar environments or situations. However, as long as she has her support from her friends, family, and fans, she can take on any challenge.
