Lucius decided to express his affection for Gretchen by writing her a sonnet, a 14-lined poem with a traditional rhyming scheme. It's got more flowery language than you can Shake a Spear at! But it seems that despite the imperfect penmanship (it's hard to write neatly with those big ol' dragon talons), Gretchen finds the old-fashioned poetry to be beautiful and touching. After all, it comes from the heart!
