Spencer gritted his teeth, wincing as his ears had now doubled in length and his nose was growing before him. His eyes stung as they started to redden and his jaw widened, dull fangs protruding from his top lip. He cursed himself for taking an extra hour for his shift without checking his calendar today. Many worries flooded his mind: is this going to compromise his uniform? Was he going to get fired? Could he sneak out early without explanation? The latter was seeming less certain as dark brown and orange fur bristled along his forearms, the flesh on his palms and fingertips swelling into luminous padding. The claws of the beast took their place, meaning he would have to take extra care to not shred any surfaces on his way out.
