Tomorrow is St Andrew's Day, the feast day of the patron saint of Scotland - and thus a time to celebrate all things Scottish. Naturally, it's also a time for me to draw something featuring Alasdair Geddes. I also wanted to somehow include the Geddes tartan, which it only recently occurred to me to look up.
A lot of people think you can only wear a particular tartan if you have that clan's surname. This is in fact a myth, and in reality anyone can wear whatever tartan they like. Indeed, wearing a clan's tartan is often taken as a sign of friendship and respect towards that clan. Kyoko's obviously taken that knowledge to heart - not that she's ever had any problems being accepted into the Clan Geddes!
