"Oh! Good morning. Yes, I saw you on the ferry today. You’ll have to forgive me for not saying hello, I tend to zone out when crossing the ocean. Just letting the feeling of the waves .... hmm? My route? It starts right here at Rockside. No, no, Rockside is the name of the town here. Tends to have up to eighty people living in it most of the year, more in the summer when those with vacation homes come in. I get the pleasure of picking up and dropping off the mail all year round. Rain, snow and nice days like today. The ferry waits for me so I can do my rounds before heading back to the mainland."

"What brings a tourist to the Island at this time of year? A podcast on murders?! What murders? You have to understand, those are not murders. Disappearances yes, but none of them are ever found to be suspicious. Maine is the most rural state in New England and this island is no different. Sometimes people will go off into nature and just doesn’t return for one reason or another."

"I know that doesn’t sound convincing at all but calling those tragedies murders could really paint the place in a bad light and some of the townsfolk make their living off of tourism. Just give it some thought before you make a final decision on the title alright?"
