Red Mog is my character, why does he need to grow up? If you want to see him as an adult, I mean he's 17 in this picture.

Oh, because of magic is it? Incase you have not noticed, magic does not change..it remains the same through the ages...what is my point. Technology...it is in constant adaptation and change, a force that now is making magic less and less effective. In time magic will be renedered obsolete. The process has begun..even now technology has become immune to just about all elemental magics, either repelling it or harnessining the residual energy as a power source. Soon the time of magic will end and the age of the machine will rise and conqour.
perhaps but that is why we study it...as scientists we study the effects and find a solution to the problem. As warsmiths we make armor and weapons best suited for such magic based on research and data. As generals we make stratagies and tactics. And as soldiers...we find that blot and bring it down. We do not take lives...this is not a threat..it is a promise to all thoes that try to invade our nation, our freedom, way of thinking, our way of life, our process and our methods and beleifs. If you came to start a war...it will be just that. But do not underestimate technology...and I fully well know what magic can do...that is why we are using science to equivilate that effect with an explainable and logical process.
Why on earth would you consider it a problem and not embrace it? It's not a religion, kupo~ Rather than work with it, you form weapons and armors, mongering wars in your own rights.
So you claim that you do not take lives, but what then are soldiers to do? protect people from a force? and how to protect them from it but by stopping it. Forgive me if I find your notions of generals and soldiers, tactics and strategies and invasions never -ever- claim lives to be quite.. laughable.
So you can use your science to equiviliate effects with explainable and logical process, but at what cost? Your sense of security and safety? Where are you if not for your machinery?
Technology is all well and good, but embrace what you will at the belittlement of all else, and you will find yourself one day yearning for the welcoming invitation of those learned in other than yourself~

I see....you do present some rather logical. But I accidentally left out the part that we do not take lives unless thoes of ours are taken first. But I see how one would utilize magic...but nevertheless magic to me requires some form of sacrifice, some form of having to use ones own energy. And magic has to be replenished with potions and such. Now while technology has simmular limitations, it does not tire out the person using it. The technology does most of the work while weilders of magic use more of their own energy which in the longrun will tire them out. I use technology to take that portion out of the equasion. But I do understand that magic has it's uses and is very powerful. But magic also takes a long time to learn. Technology can be mastered quickly. Magic must grow it's strenght over time to get stronger or use an amplifier of some kind. Technology on the other hand can quickly adapt and be brought up to the level magic is or higher if needed. But I do understand your argument. To utlilze both would be even more effective. There just needs to have a balance where the technology can replenish the body to use more magic while the technology can also do more of the structural damage. You do make sense. I am just analizing what I have learned of both sides.
Again, you generalise. You speak of only one form of magic, of one style of invocation, catalyst and action. Nothing of the sort that comes naturally. Nothing of the sort that is a part of a person and the universe to a natural extent. And Your technology takes time to perfect, to shape and craft. it takes time, and resources to build. Resources to power. training to learn it, risks to abuse it far more openly dangerous to the body to befoul.
All in all, Technology is the more limited of the two. Energy can never be erased or created, only changed. Mass, however, can be.

Matter cannot be destroyed..only altered from one state to another. This one of the laws of matter. And as for time...well You are partially correct...1. While earth has limited resources..there is an entire universe full of it. 2. While it takes time to make factories..once they are made, ships, weapons, armor, various vehicles can be churned out by the thousands a day. But as for training..that is a factor as each learns at a faster pace...that is why cybernetic humans learn the fastest because they simply insert the programing and the rest will follow. But I cannot say it is invincible. To fully understand how to see what would happen is to fight..but there has to be a way to do it safely. The only way is through simmulations both in the feild and via computer...And there is the matter of combinations of both working together.
Well we need oil for gassoline to fuel our trucks to bring other resources such as food to our cities. If you come to change how we do things then you will have messed up our modern civilization...we won't go back to the old ways...we will not devolve to a lower state of living.
Humes have more versatility, and function as better damagers with the ability to get Ninjas as a class ontop of being thieves that can take more hits. On top of supplementing Parvir and Paladin and you have a party of, Ninja/Samurai/Knights that can one shot with any element, status infliction, and still be dishing out the offensive force of their physical stat.
Nu mores = best spell casting race, period, all moogles have is bard (thanks to Hurdy)
Baagas = The focus on the good classes they have can utlize the use of spears, ie, they don't need to be ajacent to kill with their high offensive power.
the only thing Moogles have going for them is mobility, and believe me, mobility matters earily game, end game when players can ignore height, have a move stat of 7, Teleport, and insta-kill range attacks, that ability to move falls very flat on it's face.
