Actually I found the ending of Okami to be pretty self-contained, especially compared to the ending of Okamiden. Okami had a sense of the story being over, but Okamiden's epilogue pretty much flat-out says "We had more adventures later!"
Also the developer did say that if Okamiden sold well, they'd consider making a sequel for the 3DS... but since Okamiden only came out in March in the States, you're right, it'll probably be a year before any announcements are made, if they will be at all.

And him making a silly face after his first haircut.

He gets bad heat spots in summer, so we give him a puppy cut at the beginning of summer to help him deal with the heat. And since his fur was long enough that he looked a bit like he was wearing very flamboyant cowboy chaps (with all the tasles swinging as he strutted, and yet, he struts when he walks), there's a lot of fur to cut off.

So do I. I'm so anxious for it. I haven't beaten one yet though. I had to start over cuz I lost my memory card >.< I'm doing better this time around though so I guess that's good XD I can beat it before I get Okamiden.

I saw a funny picture the other day of Ammy nuzzling up to Link. Link looked freaked out and was calling out for Zelda. It reminded me of the scene from Sword in the Stone when the little girl squirrel was clinging to Arther and he's like "I'm a boy! A human boy!" XD
