Well, there are some people I've ment who refuse to believe dinosaurs ever existed. Which I don't get. Why would you even want to believe that? ;w;

According to a guy I knew in high school, dinosaurs were "put here to test our faith." According to another, dinosaur bones are all FAKES planted by early scientists and witches!!1!

In both cases, they were just really extreme Christians. They were definitely some of the only religious folk I've ever known to think that, most others I know are like "yeah, God could have created dinosaurs, why not?"

well I believe dinosaurs existed and I am a Christian. The Bible granted didn't say they existed, but really when you find bones buried so far down how the heck could scientists plant them there when they didn't know they were there in the first place?

The bible isn't that ridiculous as you say. They have some proof that some stuff existed now and were in the bible. Take for example a documentary I saw a couple of years ago from Mount Ararat. They found a giant boat (also known as Noah's Ark) on part of the peak. No water around to say it was washed up there on accident. It proves that there was a flood that did cover the whole earth at some point.

I am just stating facts. You can believe me or just shrug it off. Not always seeing something is believing, but there are a few things out there that are from the Bible.

There is some proof (IIRC) that there was a giant flood, and an arc-like boat might have existed to carry livestock and such, so if anything Noah's arc could be considered a gross exaggeration of actual events. But otherwise, what you said is why it couldn't have happened word-for-word, which is why most bible stories shouldn't be taken at face-value (er, in my opinion; people can believe what they want, aka TRYING NOT TO STEP ON TOES HERE)

This is SUCH a well drawn depiction. GOD, you're just friggin' amazing. XD

They're up there for me too. Actually, this was gonna be a Suchomimus, but with the cartoony proportions I couldn't get the back ridge to look right. So uh, he de-digivolved into a Baryonyx, I guess!

Both are equally cool, IMO. Those croc-like faces just look so damn awesome.

Say, didja ever play a PS1 game called Jurassic Park: Warpath? Was this awesome dino fighting game, and a Succhomimus was one of the playable characters. Made me wish they had gotten the change to debut in one of the JP movies. Sadface. =<

Yeah as a kid I called them "crocosaurs" because I couldn't pronounce the names for the life of me. I still call them that for fun, even if they have no relations to crocs, ahaha.

And no I haven't but I was told it's absolutely horrible. But y'know, that's never stopped me before. General rule of thumb: IF THERE'S DINOSAURS IN A GAME, SQUEEDGE WILL PLAY IT. WHO CARES IF IT SUCKS. DINOSAURS. I'll have to check it out.

And well, they mention suchomimus in JP3. BETTER THAN NOTHING? ;w;

Yeah in some ways it was a kind of lackluster game, but ... FRIGGIN' DINOSAURS KILLING EACH OTHER OMG! It's downright cathartic. XD

True that. IMO, I would have rather have had Succhomimus in JP3 than the Spinosaurus, but oh well. They wanted something big, I guess (even tho I'm fairly sure Spinosaurus wasn't that big in reality, but then again, JP took a lot of other liberties with other dinosaurs, so it's forgivable to a certain extent). Tho I still think the smaller dinosaurs are in a lot of ways scarier than the ones that tower over buildings. Succhomimus instead of the Spino during that raining river scene would have been SO much more awesome, tho. >_>

Tho y'know what helps? Baryonyx was in the PS1 Jurassic Park: Lost World game (during the human hunter levels) so that soothes some of the pain. XD

For my dinosaur-on-dinosaur violence kick, I turn to Primal Rage, but I should check this out. More options are always good.

Dino Rex is also good, in that so-bad-it's-hilarious way, hahah. THANKS, TAITO.


And hmmm, well I s'pose they picked Spinosaurus because like you said they wanted something big, and the sail is very iconic and impressive looking. And although I think it was about the right size, they sure made it...bulky. But y'know, Jurassic Park should be viewed as a monster movie more than anything else, ahahaha.

And huh, I HAVEN'T PLAYED THAT EITHER. I've just played the one for the Genesis/SNES, and then some Zoo Tycoon-like one for the PS2, ahaha.

OMG Primal Rage was my CRACK when I was a kid. Hopelessly addicted. I even had all the toys. XD Never heard of Dino Rex. tho, how is it?

And yeah, JP films are great, if you take them with a grain of salt and just enjoy the ride. A lot of facts were tweaked for the sake of making things more interesting. But even as a hardcore dino nerd, I don't care. Still love those movies. ^.^

Lost World is DEFINITELY a must-play for dino fans. The controls in some levels were kind of meh (like the T-Rex levels had very so-so controls, but still VERY fun), but the graphics more than made up for it. One of the most detailed and advanced looking games of its era. VERY impressive for PS1 graphics. =3
