~ Another Hoenn adventure-themed picture of me and Cloud, finally! I was wondering what location I could represent for this one, and I chose Fortree City. Cloud and I -- Cloud in his default Alolan Vulpix form -- are travelling through the Hoenn region, and we just worked our way through the Route 111 Desert passage. We made our way up to Mt. Chimney and challenged Flannery, the local Gym Leader, for a Gym Battle (just, not for a badge or anything, simply for fun). After that event (Flannery thought we were very cute-looking good boys, even me), we walked through the jungle route and passed the Weather Institute, across some bridges over waterfalls, until we finally arrived at our next planned destination -- Fortree City.

''Wow'', I said, ''it looks even more beautiful here in real-life than in the games!''

''Yeah? I think the setting sun helps a lot with that'', Cloud replied, ''look how beautiful everything is around here! Do you think people live in these tree houses?''

''That's the entire reason this place is so special'', I said, knocking on one of the massive trees' roots with a forepaw, ''here in this city lives another Gym Leader''

''Oh! That's true, Lay!'', Cloud said, ''eh... who was it again?'' ''Winona, she specializes in Flying types!'' ''Oh, right!''

The sun gave the entire town, including the Poké Center and Poké Mart, a light orange hue. ''Shall we challenge the Gym right away?'', Cloud pointed at a square building sporting a deep-yellow roof. ''Eh... I dunno...'', I answered, ''some moments ago when we were trekking through Route 119, I met a cute Linoone who built his nest close to the edge of the river that's down there'' ''Uh-huh?'' ''Well, he has a friend, a Taillow, who frequently helps him out with all kinds of things; and that bird just so happens to be the offspring of the Swellow belonging to Winona. So, I asked Linoone about where they might be now''

Cloud started to climb one of the wooden ladders leading up to one of the tree houses: ''Any luck?''

I followed in his footsteps: ''Eh... no. But there's a big chance he'll find us around here, even if these tree houses and the Gym are seemingly empty''

Cloud got an idea, and before I knew it, the Vulpix used his transformation powers to turn himself into a majestic Swellow, a giant dark-blue bird with red accents and a fierce look on his face. By that time, I had managed to reach the same platform he was now on, and I sat down close to the edge as Cloud spread his wings and flew high up into the pink sky.

Cloud turned his head, shouting: ''Stay there, good buddy! I'll go look for Taillow and the others! I won't be away for long! Howl if you've got any troubles!''

I lay down on the wooden platform that connected one of the rickety wooden bridges to another tree house in the town. Just as I turned on my back in order to enjoy the final bit of fading sunlight, ...I heard rustling below me. ''So this town isn't abandoned after all'', I said out loud to myself, anticipating a fight.

Next, a few Shiftry along with their offspring Nuzleaf, emerged from the bushes, surrounding the tree I looked down on. I was surrounded by forest demons. I let out my howl, both to enitiate the battle, and to warn Cloud of my dangerous situation. We came here for some rest, not to be ambushed by some foresty freaks!

I stood up, used my cry once more, and jumped down from the tree house platform, and attacked one of my ambushers with a Fire Fang...
