Thanksgiving is a time for closeness and gratefulness for the precious few friends and family we hold dear. A time to reminisce on memories, a time for gratitude for being there for one another. It is a time to remember where we came from, and to never forget as we move forward.
...or, sometimes, it's a day to stuff yourself silly and try not to think about how this was the second straight month of indulgences. This particular Mantled Beast (or Va'ji), who I've named Vandaryn Selles, certainly did so.
This was a relatively quick drawing of that same Va'ji from a few submissions back. Can you tell I like creatures with visors stuck to their faces? Unlike Pointer, who is a warrior and lives to hone his body and mind on the battlefield, Vandaryn really just wants to relax and indulge here and there (in spite of his typically busy occupation).
You might see more of him as the year comes to a close.
