Amendelwyr laughed and leapt into Taliune's scales. The weight of their subsequent roll into the ground kicked up dirt, rocks, and crushed grasses. "Tali!" She cheerily cried. There was joy, surprise, and warmth in her words.
They came to a stop and Amendelwyr held her claws up to Taliune's cheeks. Her heart filled with a love to see Taliune's form restored as she was meant to be. To shrug off the chains of a dark past and even darker people.
And to think, Taliune came to The Vale and The Tree with so much fear, so much pain. Now she saw happiness, freedom, relief. All this replacing the sorrowful creature from before.
Taliune's tears dripped down onto her dear friend's snout. "Thank you," she said with a trembling tone, "for giving me a chance."
