(It's Day 3 of our AUvent Calendar. And we've got a little something for Fortnite fans, with a Fortnite AU with its versions of Ben and Taylor! Importantly. For this day and some of the upcoming days for some AUs, my best friend will write the stories for the AUs based on franchises and etc I'm not familiar with. Appropriate credit will be given however. Some people wonder who in their right mind would keep getting on the Battle Bus, knowing that it was taking you to an island where it's an all-out battle to be the last ones standing, but for those who actually fight in these battle royales, they know the feeling of the adreneline pumping through their veins is unlike the kind you'd get from simply sky diving or bungee jumping. While initially a duo, Taylor and Ben would befriend a wolf named Wendell, and the duo quickly became a trio. Wendell became especially close to Taylor during a particularly unusual game however.

The trio landed in the snowy moutains, and it wasn't too long before they got into a fight with an enemy team, unfortunately Ben was the only one who managed to find a weapon, and it was a common pistol of all things, so the trio didn't start off at a good place! To make matters worse, Wendell was injured to the point of being downed. Thankfully in the confusion, Taylor managed to open a chest to find a Boogie Bomb, so he quickly used that to make the enemy team dance while Ben quickly dealt with them with his pistol.

While it was good to have a moment's peace, there was still the issue of Wendell being injured that needed to be addressed, so Taylor quickly picked Wendell up and set off to the nearest town, determined to find a med kit and make sure Wendell and Ben are able to soak in their victory with him when they take everyone else out. Wendell was touched by Taylor's determination to help him out so the wolf licked the human's cheek.

Though there was something in the sky that caught Ben's attention, some sort of star-shaped rift in the sky, which would be concerning, except in this world it wasn't uncommon to see rifts open up in the sky, in fact rifts could be occasionally seen on the ground in certain places and teleport battlers high up in the air, which was surprising at first, but before long a strategy was formed with them to use them to reposition yourself on the map, and soon those cracks in reality became no more unusual than disco ball-like grenades that forced people to dance. It wasn't long before Ben lost interest in the rift and the trio were on their way to find a med kit, being sure to mind the ominous storm closing in on them.
