During the second millennium of the Third Age of the Sun, Nimrodel and her lover Amroth became betrothed in Lothlorien. However, the pair were separated at the time of the rising of the Balrog of Moria in 1980. Nimrodel, meaning “White Lady”, lost her way through the White Mountains and was never seen again.
