Oh so even as a werewolf... He's still smaller than Ventra... It also appears he's in trouble
Lucky for Ned it was all just a dream...
(Did you really think I'd turn him into a monster?)

Well technically a moon doesn't generate light, it reflects sunlight! So... Moon light is sunlight, so how does wereism work with that?
Does the refraction change the wavelength or frequency of the light to interact with wereism? If that was the case then I'd say it's based on celestial objects refraction, and could just be star-moon specific.
Starship orbit would have the same argument, atmosphere would also change light wavelengths so being in orbit might not do anything!.... Or they can just makea werewolf park on the moon. Full time werewolf party lads!

Well you see... (This is too much consideration for a dream)
...
1. One moon activates werewolf - so yes if you orbit a moon it's like turning it on and off
(if stuck in a tranformation loop please consult refresh function by twisting both ears and booping the snoot and / or yank the tail for a factory reset)
2. Multiple moons will cancel out in that sort of thing double negative kind of thing
3. Wavelenght and refraction ... (non committal awnser) though this now has me thinking star light triggers wereism
4. Landing on a moon will overflow the weresim cache and re - set the value to zero making them normal again and resolving wereism
(Please keep in mind in some circumstance this may also result in: spontaneous combustion, reverting to incorrect species, loss of texture, increased appetite... Consult full T&C for potential outcomes)

*adjusts glasses* Well starlight could, or has the potential to trigger wereism! except it doesn't have the intensity to trigger it. *scottish voice* They do nae have tha power!
*insert long string of astro and technobabble* But it's not true wereism because it was artificial based on necklace gift and not contracted by other means. :3 So different parameters *nods* And a dream. Was just getting to the good part too.

With that first point in mind it would support the postion that going closer to a moon deactives the wereism but alternatively coming closer to a sun worsen's wereism...
But if you're approaching a sun I think there is a much bigger issue then were - creatures.
Of cource, allcursed funny gifts come with all kinds of specific rules.
