Well, I said I's give it a try, but why not give it two tries? ;D Because, as said on the other post featuring my cyclop OC, I thought that'd be fun to do with someone with 'unusual eye count', and in order to make my tarantula OC Maria Magdalena "Lena" Aranha looks more like a spider, I decided she'll have four eyes from now on - in my OCs lore, anthros are not given all the features from their root species, just some that wouldn't be that much advantageous (such as extra limbs in this case) in a way to "make up" for their already advantageous evolved brain. But also... I confess it's my way to dodge the complexity that extra limbs would bring to nailing down proper anatomy, so extra eyes makes it easier to me. ^^; Besides... if anthro bugs were all to have extra limbs, anthro snakes and fish should have none, so this also dodges a good chunk of evolutionary debates and makes it fair to all of them. XD
