“Well, Rogue…look at you.”

The silly and bubbly, yet currently dominant Quivern spoke, his blue-brown feathers waving as he turned his head around. Taped to the Quivern Kinai’s butt was a big, poofy diaper, certainly closer to the ground and bigger than most diapers when it came to Quivern-sized apparel!

But this was no ordinary diaper…even if the front appeared unassuming with its neon blue color and the white line that went through it, the top part a dark blue with turquoise tapes holding it together.

However, the back of the diaper gave a completely different impression! Printed on the center were two, purple-colored eyes with two, nostril-like indentations beneath them! The white line on the front curved into a circular end near the bottom, almost resembling the markings on a reptilian stomach. Meanwhile, the front also contained a dark-blue coloration on the top, with pink highlights on the bottom where it draped near the eyes in pointed ends, resembling some hair on the face printed on the back of the diaper, with a hole for Kinai’s tail.

In fact, the print seemed to be ANIMATED as the sentient diaper gazed at the daycare around them where Kinai was inspecting their form! The Quivern then turned their head sideways, casually proceeding to break the fourth wall as they spoke to you, the viewer.

“Like my new diaper? Their name is Rogue, and they’re still adjusting to their new position around my waist, as you can see~”

The diaper’s gaze shifted nervously up to Kinai, yet with a look of sincere comfort as well.

“Awwww, cheer up! You look adorable like this! I mean, yeah, this is scary; I didn’t expect you to get merged into my pamp like that…and I’ll promise that I find a way to fix this. But think about how comfortable it must be for you!”

The diaper, formerly a dragon named Rogue didn’t respond…which wasn’t to say that they couldn’t, though thanks to the fusion spell cast on her she could only speak directly to Kinai or other diapers when she was near for now.

Kinai was a good friend of hers that she had hung out with and had wanted to grant Rogue the softness of a diaper as a present. A Wixen had offered to help them…but that’s when Rogue had been merged with Kinai’s diaper, LITERALLY becoming his pamp! The Wixen unfortunately hadn’t expected this and didn’t know a way to undo a sentient kind of fusion like that, leaving a grumpy/shaken pamp and their new wearer to contemplate what to do next. After a whole day of struggles, Kinai had made the executive decision for them to cut their losses and try again to tomorrow, much to the anxiousness of the newly-transformed diaper.

“Look…”

Kinai suddenly patted their butt where Rogue’s face was, a cloud of baby powder poofing out.

“…I promise I’ll figure out how to fix this. I just want you to be happy, okay? Just promise me that you’ll give this new perspective a chance while we navigate this, okay?”

Rogue sighed, rolling her eyes before closing them in sad resignation.

“…okay. I’ll try.”

The living diaper spoke back to her current owner. The Quivern smiled, bouncing his body a bit with glee.

“Yay! You’re the best, Rogue!”

Kinai gripped the sides of the diaper with both of his claws as he flew off the ground, giving his diaper a makeshift hug as he kicked his feet in excitement. Rogue could sense what Kinai was doing, and for the first time since this incident happened…she smiled.

Even if she didn’t have a physical mouth, the smile was still there. Kinai would be there to protect her, making sure that she was safe while he tried to look for a cure for her. And in that moment, she agreed to do the same for him as well and protect the rear end she was covering from any harm. She’d be there for the peppy Quivern, even if her autonomy was limited to being around his waist.

And that was what brought the two closer, and a beautiful bond formed between the new diaper and her excited wearer.

Lore time!

Kinai and Rogue and how they became acquaintances is a mystery, but Rogue ends up becoming afflicted with this curse that fuses their essence with that of Kinai’s diaper, changing Rogue into their diaper! As a peppy, cuddly Quivern Kinai has a lot to do at the Daycare he works at when he’s looking after some of the younger and older creatures there, and is often the emotion support creature that is constantly giving and receiving hugs…all while trying to find a way to undo the curse on Rogue. Regardless, a bond starts to form between the Quivern and the former dragon, whether it be through Kinai slowly teasing and breaking Rogue into their new role, using Rogue like the diaper she is, or Rogue protecting Kinai’s booty at all times, offering emotional support for him, being the comfiest booty-pillow, and even lending her powers to him and using her electricity to help him! It gets to the point where when they do find a way to undo the curse, Rogue decides to remain as Kinai’s diaper to be there for him while also loving her new lifestyle, a sentiment which moves Kinai to tears. Now Kinai has become the best friend and caretaker of many, while Rogue continues to protect her wearer and even make friends with other living diapers. Truly, the bond they have together is a true companionship between wearer and diaper.

There’s also a time where Rogue gets mass-produced in the pamp recycler factory, basically being cloned and stuffed into diaper packs that are sold everywhere and worn by everyone ^w^ While Rogue gets a lot of anxiety and confusion from looking at herself or realizing that she’s been a mass-produced copy, Kinai and her other wearers are there to calm her down and make sure that she’s okay.
