PinLe prepared some sketches for me for mountable beasts some years ago.

As denoted by the antlers on their head (yes I know he has a horn, he is special shhh), the scent they bear and the aura they radiate, the Eldkin are special Beastkin from an ancient age. They are special guardians that Mother Nature cares for.
Bodhya works at The Ponds, he aides in the ferrying of injured X'Alted outside of The Drink of Aphrodite, a lake of which that leads to the Divine Realm. There he handles search and rescue, as well as purifying any Yokai who emerge.
Bodhya is not interested having children unlike his kin, but at the same time, he probably doesn't have much on his mind aside helping others and fulfilling his duties. If anything, Mother Nature is an exception, as he misses the one who raised him. When can he go home?
