Star Wars Furry - Seite 156
Dialogues:
Vulver: Sigh... If only just a few more creatures in this galaxy would have the same mindset like you, friend Voolvif, it would be a brighter and more friendly place. If compassion and true honor would be valued more then lust for power and dominion and riches... But this galaxy is cold and harsh and hostile to life. And you should know, friend, that I too owe you my life.
Voolvif: How come? You hadn´t been a part of the pack, when the Separatists had held them captive.

You really have been setting up that Voolvif isn't just some "badass" but someone with a strong heart and will for a while, and it's good to see that worldbuilding pay off here. As someone who doesn't really watch Star Wars all that much, light saber battles and warfare are the main things that come to my mind. It's really good to see a situation where someone is avoiding instigating -or even reciprocating- that violence at almost any cost.
I also applaud you for putting in so much detail into the faces and paying attention to the anatomy when all that's going on is talking. I can tell you're really pouring your heart into this.

Thank you very much for the nice compliment. It means much to me.
Of course, here will be action too, a lightsaber battle and star ship battle, even some scenarios, that will be drawn in horror comic style, for we are talking about werewolves here.
But it is also important to me, that there is a story aside from action too and I like to reverse the roles. Here it is werewolves, who talk about compassion, while human beings establish an empire, were living is would be like hell, if you are on their bad side.

Ironic as Treasure Island has a scene where the Pirates mutiny over finding a single piece and the Skeleton Crew now has a Shistavarian Pirate who does a similar scene (kinda a cross with Edward 'Blackbeard' Teach, Isreal Hands, and George Mary) angry that so much work and sacrifice yielded a single credit. 🏴☠️🐾
Like the Republic itself the Jedi Order had been in a long decline, Voolvif more of a throwback to what it was in the past given we've seen how he truly embodied the ideals of the Jedi, the compassion and the strength of will and a noble heart, belieing as well the stereotype that outsiders would have when they think of Shistavanen. In times when the galaxy is shrouded in darkness even a small pinpoint of light is more important than ever, as is a spark of hope rekindled and perhaps in time it will stir in Voolvif again.
Vulver as well another contrast to what one would consider of Shistavanen, though like Voolvif he's an exception, a deep thinker and with the truth and wisdom that were he a Force Sensitive, he might well have made a good Jedi himself. Were he ever fishing on Dabogah at some point in later years and was sensed by Yoda, I imagine they might have an interesting conversation.
Beautifully expressive Shistavanen faces once again, though that's to be expected.

Such was allways my personal point of view on how the Jedi originally were meant to be. Mostly advisors, helpers in times of strife, healer and savekeepers of peace, only raising the lightsaber, if there is really no other means of solving a problem, but only to defent those, who can not do so themselves. Jedis would have once a deep connection with creation in itself, deeply rooted respect for all and any kind of life and seeking for enlightenment in the force through good deets and meditation. Seeking to help to keep all things in some kind of balance.
In their late years, they had turned into a political direction, more like warrior monks like the temple knights once had been, with some added honor codex like the samurai had. They had seen themselves as granted and that it would be usual for them to stand proud, thinking, their presence alone would be enough to keep things in check. But that at the end let them forget to look what was going on right in front of their eyes.
Vulver´s backstory is a tragic one, but it will be revealed soon. Here we have some flashbacks on the pasts of the whole howling cerberus crew.
