Laugh it up, fuzzballs :V
I was going to write a "Except on this one, obviously" disclaimer when I was uploading that last thing, but I had assumed it would have been far too obvious.
Here, I'll make this one interesting. Free 2 minute sketch to whoever makes the most interesting comment on this one, to be awarded whenever I feel like it, for a completely arbitrary definition of "interesting"

I think he's striving (what all warriors strive for) for comments a bit more on the criticizing side o.o or at least that's how i came to understand it.... well, i'll try my best .-.
For one, what you draw is good, well done, but too plain and simple, i do get how you're getting the hang of drawing better (or at least i'd like to think), and of course, plain and simple isn't bad, unless you're aiming to actually do something of high art quality, it's usually most entretaining and nice to look at :3 Sort of like comics, some of your recent stuff has background, keep that up :3 I hope this fits into what you wanted to get .-.
Of course, i'm not on the most adequate position to criticize, specially not drawn things >_<

Not so much striving for critiques as much as desiring some more rumination. I like to know what's going on inside people's heads :B
I would probably add backgrounds more often if openCanvas didn't make it such a bitch to do it. It's only got multiply, add, or subtract mode for layers for some bizarre reason.
Also some of that "recent stuff" isn't actually that recent :V

This reminds me of when I went browsing through some people's journals and found one where they were talking about how depressed they were and it seemed like they might do something drastic. I left them a comment saying they could talk to me if they wanted and they admitted they'd just been trolling, so I searched for their FA name on Google and found out their real name was Dave Sergio, which I then searched for on Facebook. Luckily, they used their fursona for their Facebook profile picture. So I added them as a friend and they were stupid enough to accept, which let me dreg through all their profile info. I traced the person down to their street. I then worked out which house they lived at by looking at the photos of their new car. I ended up getting a few buses and finding their house, taking with me my trusty penknife, a cameraphone and some lemon juice. Long story short, I broke into his house and rearranged all his furniture so it was the exact opposite of what it used to be to freak him out. It was really funny until he found out it was me (posting about it on Facebook was a bad move, I suppose) and called the police. So I ended up having to leave the country and live in England, where I adopted an accent and funny hat and became a student. I also got myself a python, which ate my girlfriend's cat. That was fun to watch. Nomnomnom.
So yeah, this reminds me of that. :3

I begged and pleaded with her day after day, but she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way. She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket. I put my Walkman on and said, "I might as well kick it."
First class, yo, this is badass--drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass? Is this what the people of Bel-Air living like? Hmm, this might be alright.
But wait I hear they're prissy, bourgeois and all that! Is this the type of place that they should send this cool cat? I don't think so...I'll see when I get there. I hope they're prepared for the prince of Bel-Air
Well, the plane landed and when I came out, there was a dude who looked like a cop standing there with my name out. I ain't trying to get arrested yet, I just got here! I sprang with the quickness like lightning, disappeared.

That's a fox, isn't it? Those foxes! They really like being foxes, don't they? I think they enjoy it too much sometimes! Not all of them, but a lot of them. They're like, "Hi, I'm a fox! How are you doing? I'm a fox! You've got some interesting art here! I'm a fox! You should draw more foxes! Because I'm a fox! Hey, I know what'll cheer you up: I'm a fox!"
Aren't you glad you and I aren't foxes?
...On a completely unrelated note, have you ever tried a fox form?

I have a miscellaneous side character who was a fox who wears a golden suit of armor, but he only showed up breifly during some old forum collaborative story a long time ago. I've yet to draw him or even use him since then. Does that count? He also was from a universe completely inhabited by walkin' talkin' animals so he probably wouldn't understand the idea of "furries". I think I just had him there to be the "normal guy" amidst a band of weirdos :P
As for this thing, I just thought fox was a generic enough look for the trollface furry :V
