Right now, Catalina works as a government-sponsored bounty hunter.
In fact, she isn't just employed by them. Instead, they rule over her every action and thought.
Not only have they supplied her with a fancy custom energy pistol, they've also had a hand in her very creation.
They're the ones that have given her cat ears, a tail... and a particularly curvaceous body.
They've even been a part of her life for as long as she can remember, though she suspects their claims of legitimacy to be highly suspect.
The only thing getting in the way of her freedom is an explosive tracking collar bound to her neck, and she'll do anything to be free of it.
She tries her best to appear unintelligent, but rest assured; if she can only get the tracker removed she'll be more than competent enough to take care of the rest on her own.
She's even got most of the assorted mooks she interacts with on a daily basis fooled, though some of them can tell she's hiding her prowess a bit.
None of them know just how sharp she is, and as long as she's under their thumb they never will...

However, all that is bound to change eventually...
