This started out as a bunch of random sketches while further developing Talia (pronounced "Tal-yah"). My main concern was the design of her tiara, which needed a revision to fit the relatively small forehead of Mobian characters. I'm not quite used to this style, yet, but I'm getting better at the proportions.
As usual, I got carried away and decided to ink and color everything. If I had known I'd do that, I would have planned the composition a bit better to accommodate the text, rather than just throwing it all together. Once I'm comfortable with the design, I'll make a proper model sheet later.
Next up, some sketches of Giraud, and then I'll start putting more of the story together and see where that goes. 8)

Yeah, the way I drew it looks so odd to me now. The fit is all lop-sided, too. Oh well. Might as well do some more poses!
The main benefit to finishing and coloring sketches is that it makes it far easier to see the mistakes. Everything looks way different in color on a computer screen.
