She became a scientist because she wanted to make the world a better place.
That's what she tells herself.
Deep down, there's a pit of longing that will never, ever be filled. She wants people to know her name, to think that she's a good person, to admire her and look up to her.
Then, she finds out that the world where her friends are is sealed, only allowing Pokemon through.
She could train a Pokemon to use the guns that will save that world.
But then she isn't the hero.
She can't let that happen.
Because then, they'll like whoever she sent to help them, not her.
There is only one choice. And so, she turns herself into a Pokemon, throwing all caution to the wind...
