Just a quick, short sketch series I made, because I was bored. Pelicans are seriously underrated preds in my opinion. Especially considering they are famous for attempting to swallow unusual prey.

After digesting his meal to the point where he can actually fly, this Pelican wastes no time heading far back out to sea, where humans won't find him. Especially considering he just effortlessly churned one of their cities. His full belly sloshes underneath him as beats his wings, clearly requiring a lot of effort to stay airborne with the extra weight. Even despite having a ridiculous metabolism.
