Known only to the Vossen the Runari have been lost in the mists of time and space, quite literally, being the children of one of the twin Goddesses they were tasked with watching over Eidon as the Goddesses rested after it's creation. They did not directly intervene in the evolution of the world allowing the lesser Gods and Demigods to shape the world and it's future, only acting when forces outside of the mortal realm would threaten the young world and some of them would end up between the planes where they would create a place for themselves as the first line of defense and thus keeping the bigger threats from even entering the mortal plane and Eidon. Though these threats included the demons there are far more powerful entities out there who would seek to destroy or claim Eidon for themselves but the Runari have performed their duty without fail for millennia without fail. Although considerign the demons have managed to invade Eidon a few times now means the Runari are having some trouble with the bigger threats or they have simply become less vigilant with their attention in the realm between.
The Runari who remained behind have since mingled with the mortals, eventually becoming the Vossen as the Vossen believe, and as such they have continued to protect Eidon from the Demons, but eventually they too became too complacent untill the Vossen were driven out of their homeland and spread across Eidon. The Vossen believe that some among them still possess the blood of the Runari since during the first demon war a mortal Runari appeared to save Eidon and after the event they simply vanished but they alegedly had some kits with an unkown Vossen ensuring that if needed another pure blood Runari would be born to save Eidon once more, though none of the Vossen know how many of them or who shares that bloodline. But this belief has led to white tailed Vossen being considered blessed and a sign of the Runari bloodline having been passed on to that Vossen. Wether this is true or not is unkown but it has led to being a mark of great beauty to have a completely white tail among most Vossen. (Hence why the Polvossen turned out to be such heartbreakers since their arrival at Moonrest city, being completely white furred...)
With the return of the Goddesses it remains to be seen if the Runari will ever return, or if they will remain at their outpost somewhere in the universe.
