So this here's Grace! She's Tylus's Two year-old Baby Sister, and unfortunately one of the only few individuals who's shown any sign of affection to him in this terrible household.
Possibly because he spends more time than his parents actually taking care of her, if his dad isn't at work, or yelling at his mom to do anything, he's in his room playing video games while complaining about how much video games suck these days. And despite running a parenting blogging channel, his mom seems to have noticed just how much people on the internet are... 'fawning' over her two year-old daughter, and has kinda posed her as the 'star' of her own 'little show', while sometimes bragging about the fact that she's more than willing use her power to take away her overworked son's meal privileges, if he doesn't do his damn chores...
Which unfortunately leaves Tylus to look after her most of the time, while mostly he just looks after and interacts with her, he's also often responsible for feeding, cleaning, changing, and dressing her. it isn't always bad... perhaps in his brief respite with her, he could at least teach his baby sister, and maybe give her the early education any kid could use.
Unsurprisingly, Grace has probably shown more love for her brother than she's ever did for either her parents, perhaps because she's seen just how badly they've treated him for all he's done. And would often draw pictures for him, allow him to spend some time together watching cartoons, and sometimes... comfort him after he's been physically beaten by his dad.
Tylus's biggest wish is to make sure his sister is safe at all costs, and can often be overprotective of her, in daycare, he can at least breathe somewhat easily knowing that she's at least being watched over there, and away from his abusive parents. Although not exactly known to Tylus, Grace also wishes her brother were doing well too, and just wants to see him be happy like so many other kids there! But its so hard for him, especially with everything he's going through...
Oh yeah, I've also updated Tylus's colors after designing his sister! He now looks more like a secret main char- I mean... more like his sister! Before he got that black windbreaker, this was what he mostly wore to daycare.

This suggests that there's some really unpleasant things going on in that household if his mother's focusing on that segment. At best, she's greedy and cares nothing for her daughter except how much money she can make off of her. At worst, she's openly catering to creeps.
Also, the cross necklace kind of breaks my immersion, given the Dino Daycare 'verse is a constructed world.
That said, the two are quite cute despite the horrible situation they're in.

I already recognized the character, but then I remembered I already read that entire story about several characters you uploaded in one picture and Tylus was one of them. That's when I thought: ''Hey! It's Tylus, isn't it! I wonder how he's doing RN because I felt so bad for him after reading the full character descriptions''

My anatomy and proportions lean a bit more towards realism, but I understand what you mean. A lot of furry artists tend to draw kids as shorter and stubbier, but if you took a picture of actual kindergarteners and compared them to the Dino Daycare cast, their proportions would be pretty on point. Not to mention, some kids because of their species would be taller than normal with a longer neck, arms and legs (Tylus is a Sauropod, so it would make sense for him to stand taller than most kids.)
The confusion could also come from the fact that the kids are only shown next to each other, I think if they were put next to an adult it would clear things up better.

Tylus's situation is based on a bunch of things, one being the whole 8 passengers incident, although his parents weren't as obsessed with getting as much kids. (Probably because his POS dad is too 'busy' to give more dick lol)
But really, they're just psychotic evangelical christians who basically see their religion as a way of justifying their cruelty towards those they hate, and like a lot of right-wing parents act highly possessive and restrictive of their children's freedom. What they view as 'tough love' is really just child abuse to anyone.
MAGA isn't really a thing in the Dino Daycare world, or at least extremely unpopular where the series takes place, which is a highly progressive area. Although the MAGA movement IRL does attract a lot of psychos like Tylus's parents.
