More Fat and Sad art, this time featuring Sheila.

Sheila is yet another one of those underutilized/underdeveloped characters I never really got around to doing a whole lot with.
Normally after typing that sort of sentence, I proceed to dump an entire novel, and reveal that this "underdeveloped" minor character has more in-depth characterization than many main characters in actual published franchises. But not this time.
Sheila is a nurse, although taking health advice from someone as overweight as her may seem a tad hypocritical. While I imagine that, like most of my furry folk, a portion of that bulk is actually fur and fluff, she's definitely a bigger girl. Characters in health care professions are a rarity among my cast but they're definitely out there, even if I draw more truckers than medical professionals.
In the past I've drawn her in the office once or twice, and in that ancient pic of Manhaar Van Aarden sitting on the baby scale, I imagine it was Sheila that was doing his exam. I never did decide if she has a pediatric specialty even if she definitely has the soft and warm personality for it and I have (or had) a number of small child characters to keep her busy with, and I assumed her regular patients would mostly be the lower-income characters, of which I have a staggering number that could use someone soft and warm to talk to.
For the most part, though, I've mostly drawn her in "eye candy" type pics because forever ago I found a light shade of blue that looks amazing with her fur colors, and I legitimately think she looks very good in a bra and panties, her color palette and general shape making her look very soft and warm.
Over the years I sorta decided that I like the idea of her being married (or at least in a committed romantic relationship) to the fat dopey grocery store clerk Roderick, and it's quite possible that the one-off nervous scout puppy I posted several months back is their son, although I've yet to decide if that's the case or not. I gave a bit of thought here and there to other aspects of her life and characterization, but never really bothered to pursue any of it, I'm sure in a better world where I'd actually had motivation and/or self-discipline I would have explored her more in-depth and put some of those ideas into visual form rather than having 90% of her limited appearances just involve underwear or a swimsuit.
The photo I used as a background here is from a mid-November evening. It's the same street, and taken from approximately the same location/angle, as a photo from a mid-October day that I've used as a background a couple times already. I really do regret not venturing into urban areas with the camera way sooner and getting these sort of shots to use as backgrounds back when I still thought I had some sort of future and that art would still be a part of it, since these city streets would have made for great backgrounds for many of my characters and ideas.
In the description for previous art featuring Roderick and this same building (the boarded-up brick one with the rickety fire escape, making up the left-hand side of the background) photographed from a different angle from across the street, I commented that I wasn't sure what the building is/was aside from being boarded up and in clear disrepair, but a bit of research led me to find out that it was actually a small hotel.
