I'd imagine it would be more the humidity that gets to you.
Because here in southern california, I'd be okay at 110 degrees because there's almost zero humidity. But in China during the summer, you feel like you're going to die at like 85 degrees because there's so much humidity it becomes near-impossible to breathe.
