The second of four species.
Protogen AR001 - created for the study of gas planets (Jupiter, Saturn), has genetic modifications and a modified exoskeleton. Since there is no surface on gas planets, the protogen has a light weight to move comfortably. The sounds on these planets are unusually loud and can be deafening, so their ears are missing and replaced with additional instruments for research.
