Related to the gelatinous cube the gelottenous cube differs in it having a much higher intelligence (not really a high bar though). This may not be apparent though as the mass of gel otters that are components of the cute may be interested in several things at once, or try to move in their own direction, leading to erratic behavior of the cube as a whole.
