See. I still do anthro stuff. It just never makes it past the sketch stage. But I do like this so I think I'm gonna fix it (DAT HAND), maybe expand it to fullbody, and color.
These two are characters from a stupid ongoing story I have that will never see the light of day and largely exists in my own head. Elephant dude is an art professor, cat chick is one of his students. OHOHO~

Thank you! I wish there were more elephant anthros too, they have so much potential! They are a little tricky to get a cohesive. non-awkward design for though. I kinda like how the dreads balance out the other facial features on this guy. Hair and body type are the hardest things to pin down with pachyderms :|a
I think that's what makes them so cool to see well done is that I know they are tricky to draw and get right. It's the massive skull and large cheekbones, and most people would take the easy way out and just drawn them fat...I admit, it's EASY, not that I'm complaining but as not every person on the planet is fat, neither is every elephant in an anthro universe, they can be just as size flexible as everyone else :3 Now if he were in Indian elephant he's probably need different hair considering the bulbous skull they usually have haha! I almost feel like African elephants would be the easiest of the 2 considering their skull shapes. And mammoths..... haha, that's cheating, they already have thick hair <3 ...and they're dead :(
