I also drew this reference in 2023, but I completely forgot to post it, but now I can share this art with you :)Everyone knows that Shiraya is home to the harshest creatures, right? However, he is madness itself. Would you like to meet someone who can take the life of even his own kind? Then you will definitely like it.
This male has been living on this wild island for many years. Only a few who were able to escape from him made up legends about his cruelty. Cannibal is what you can call him, famous for his cruelty. Even the slightest rustle can infuriate him, so if you want to survive, then it's better not to anger him, it definitely won't end well.
The male moves convulsively, as if he is not a living creature, but a damn biorobot. Viscous drool flows down the dark muzzle, forever smeared on the neck. He is untidy and always smeared in something, but this does not interfere with him in any way, on the contrary, it gives him a certain charm.
From the outside, it seems quite ordinary, it may even seem safe, because its color is light and delicate, but if you look closely, everything immediately falls into place. The entire coat is covered with small spines, and the body is covered with scars. His tail.. Oh, he doesn't look good. Once he was gnawed in another fight, and the fur never grew back over time. The hyena's thorns are broken off and unnaturally stick out, this also indicates eternal skirmishes. And this male had a lot of fights, believe me. His explosive temper does not allow him to live in peace, forever forcing him to attack everyone and everything.
His view deserves a separate conversation. There's no other way to call him crazy. He looks at you and immediately says: run, run, run. Hyena does not look into the soul, no, he penetrates deeper, frightening on another level. And therefore, if you see him, try not to look into his eyes, otherwise you will go crazy.
You already know he's a cannibal, right? So these are not just words. When he sees a kinsman, a frantic desire to devour him wakes up in him. To stick sharp teeth into the throat, but deeper, to feel the warm blood. This thirst is no longer just a desire, it is a necessity, so when relatives appear on the horizon, he immediately strains, waiting for the moment to attack.

Probably, as a human i'd better think twice before saying to be ready to know this Hyena. Feared to meet him for sure. But as a wolf... well, maybe my mind would figure out a nice way regarding how getting to know him, face to face. Shirai could easily decide to attack Donny, despite him doing the best to approach this hyena in friendly manners. No matter the consequences, a red wolf never steps back in front of other dangerous beings. Speaking of Donny, he'd do anything to befriend the crazy cannibal. 😉👍
