The voting! Which will close soon after this post is up was to change not only the flag into something much more cool but also the name as well! As we thought Forgotten was kind of a downer of a name especially for a Park we are trying to revive the dues paid members voted to change it to Eternal instead. Since hopefully we wouldn't be forgotten again! And with a new flag I thought 'hey why not a new flag too!'. Because I disliked the old one. So I hosted a little competition where people had three weeks to submit designs to me. I then put them all into an online form and people had a week to vote. And this design one! And unlike the previous entry I know who made this one.

Burbarry! Who happens to also be our Parks Champion but her entry won by over double the votes of the next highest voted flag. With some new more warm colors as well as an Ouroboros! To Symbolize the Eternal-ness of our park! Hopefully lasting for a long time. This one didn't have any annoying cuts or folds to it but instead its biggest issue was keeping the snake level while trying to cut out all the parts and then sew them down. It had overlapping parts as well which was another challenge. But I like to think it turned out ok. And so far everyone who has seen it has liked it. As an extra bit of stuff I also painted the PVC piping that was the flag stand and the caps to add some more color to it all and keep the same warm colors besides it just being white.

I'll be cutting the arms shorter as its hard to maneuver around as it is but hopefully soon this will be official :)
