(We're on Day 18, and this time it's a kind of DnD (Dungeons and Dragons) kind of AU. And believe it or not, a proper direct sequel from the previous day since this also involves both Spiders of Cresthaven once again. Let's see what happens this time.)

Our heroes kept up their pusuit of Interloper making progress as they kept a diligent sight on the villain... Though eventually, they arrived in a more fantasy inspired universe. One that they felt sort of familiar with...

Before long however, both SpiderCroz and Spider-Mana realised that they were in the universe of Labyrinths and Lizards! The fantasy tapletop role-playing game they played before with Chester, Harold and the whole main gang in their civillian identities! And they were in for quite a surprise too...

What do I mean by that? Well both Spider-Men eventually encountered versions of their boyfriends native to this universe. Bedrock the Blacksmith, and Dagger the Thief. Exactly like the characters Richard and Spencer respectively chose to play as back in their universe.

While both SpiderCroz and Spider-Mana stood out (Less so for the latter since he did look like a wizard), they were given the relief that they were instantly believed to be good guys. And they asked the two after some introductions if they saw any suspicious characters running through the place. And again to their relief, they mentioned seeing a coyote holding a human girl captive in a sphere, before a star-shaped rift opened up and he jumped through with her in his clutches.

Once the two adventurers lead the superheroes to the rift, SpiderCroz thanked them for their help and was about to call for his friend to get going... When in quite a reversal to the previous adventure, it was Spider-Mana who was fawning over Dagger tenderly stroking his snout! Annoyed at the role reversal, the former started getting his latter friend's attention.

"Spider-Mana." He called out, a little more annoyed at having to do the same song and dance.

"Spider-Mana..." Now he knew what the latter went through, so he decided to do what was done before...

"BEN!!" And this got Spider-Mana's attention, and embarrassment at realising what a hypoctite he had been as he jumped a little as his real name was called out. He soon quickly turned to see the other Spider-Man showing the rift they would go through. Plus there was the death glare he felt from beneath the mask, sheepishly apologising to everyone else in the area before the both of them jumped into the rift.

After they jumped in and started travelling to the next universe, SpiderCroz softened his scolding as he opened up that Spider-Mana wasn't the only one who missed his boyfriend. But also reminded him of the latter's words, especially since Bedrock and Dagger may have versions of themselves as boyfriends. At least Spider-Mana felt comforted he wasn't alone, and apologised for being a little insensitive. Though the two Spider-Men patched up their small problem, and retook their pursuit of Interloper. With the added motiviation of getting back to their loved ones in time for Christmas.
