I would not mess with China. BTW: do you need help in the desing of chinese military hardware? Ya know, they modernized thier army and use modern equitment now, also no AK style rifles anymore and so on.

China is as dangerous as it ever was....especially as you pointed out since they pour most of the money from their huge manufacturing base into the Army,instead of using it to make life better for her people...and don't forget North Korea,and now Russia is turning back to a Police state...Great for writing stories,but not good at all for the safety of the real world....And thanks for the offer! If the story does take A & Q to China,I'll take you up on it! ^ ^

Nah, Chinas threat is overrated. The current politicans are more intrested in money and a growing economic then war, the modernization of the military is just long overdue and is just meant to strengen the positon of china in Asia.

Rember, India is just around the corner, and both states had long time issues that could be resloved. To date, India has a advance in tech, while China has one in menpower. Even so, no of them wants war, the war is bad for the econimics and both states have big plusses in econimic growth.

Well, NK is run by a Madman who is like a comic dictator and is just batshit insane. Even China sees NK as a danger and the the case that NK atttcks the south, China will not hastitae to overrun the country, just to make sure the USA wont drop the bomb and to get back thier cheap labor.

Russia is run by Putin by a iron hand, he wants to establish a stron Russia and I see a future where Russia might be back in full force, but not as huge as to soviet times. Putin will go next year, so we have to see what next President Russia gets.

Also, China is less strict then Russia in some terms. Its funny how more and more liberal china gets, while Russia falls back into Soviet times.

Why do you say that?

Mainly 'cause of the stubborn-commander stuff, it’s funny ‘cause it’s like he’s trying to impersonate the typical communist leader hand-of-steel; a well known and inaccurate cliché of the 60’s.

Just take a look at one of his phrases:

"The purpose of your life is to serve the state" which is correct for a soldier indeed but with the difference that they choose it by free will. They weren’t forced to die for the state and that’s just hilarious.

Or the “I know you’re good and all that but you must realize you’re canon-fodder so don’t make high expectations” stuff. That made me wonder how they get higher ranks.

But the funniest of all must be: “Self preservation is a decadent counter-revolutionary instinct" which is offensive, incorrect and funny at the same time; the people who risked their lives were extremely valuable and not just a disposable tool; their training and experience made them priceless for the regime who surely will have done a big fuss just for the loss of one of their agents.

But it’s ok, you made me smile so I thank you :)
