Here is an interesting thing to do. Download SAI and try drawing with it.
Here is what I did attempting to ink my toon image from before. I have tried inking several images before this, but didn't understand some the things in SAI (its kind of broken, some things look like gibberish... and some is gibberish)
However, once I found some things about it, it makes inking a hell of a lot easier then just doing it in photoshop. However, I am still debating on Illustrator inking vs SAI inking. SAI is obviously more akin to drawing, and with SAI, its a hell of a lot easier to prevent mistakes and undo the ones that appear (like my problem with a shakey hand). Illustrator is more like sculpting, so it would be a good skill to practice. Maybe there is a way to merge the two.
As for the image, I fixed my belly, by removing the white spot. Kinda wanted a bit more belly, but I am very satisfied with how the current image came out. WOOT!
