This is my take on the flag of Equil. There are only differences to the original; I made the horseshoe rounder, since that's what they normally look like, and I changed the 5-point star to a 4-point star since many flags, real or fictional, use 5-point stars and I wanted to give representation to other stars.

My best guess is that it's e̶i̶t̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶a̶ ̶c̶y̶b̶e̶r̶o̶c̶r̶a̶c̶y̶,̶ ̶t̶e̶c̶h̶n̶o̶c̶r̶a̶c̶y̶,̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶p̶a̶r̶l̶i̶a̶m̶e̶n̶t̶a̶r̶y̶ ̶d̶e̶m̶o̶c̶r̶a̶c̶y̶.̶ ̶M̶a̶y̶b̶e̶ ̶i̶t̶'̶s̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶t̶h̶r̶e̶e̶!̶ (EDIT 2: Matt just confirmed that it's a technocracy)
