I visited an exhibit this week on "Composite Creatures in the Ancient World" at Emory. It was pretty cool. It prompted me to read more once I got home, and boy was some weeeeeird stuff dreamed up back then. The Hoga is apparently a lake monster from Mexico with the body of a fish and the head of a pig. It can change color at will. Cooooool.
