Red Duke Games - Axes at Dawn 3
One of the playmat illustrations I did for Red Duke Games a few years back now for a board game called Axes at Dawn, a viking-themed dueller with some very cool packaging. The assignment was a fun challenge in that I had to "hide" where card placements go into the illustration: 6 standard cards in a horizontal line, and 4 small cards in a vertical line with a space for a round token beneath them - unfortunately, I believe they changed the board layout and card mechanics sometime after I completed the illustrations, so the final game doesn't actually use the carefully engingeered spaces I snuck in XD

Eeee gods... so epic again! That is sitll such a shame they didn't use the extra cool things you snuck in. At least, on its own, this stands as such an awesome picture.
As a sidenote, this is what our Onsite team is going to see if they tell the core network engineers one day "Sorry, the new workstation comes with Windows, and you don't have a choice but to use it."
