Lugia then feels a strange sensation on their back, almost like their back plates are filling up with water too. Lugia turns the best they can to look behind themselves. They are shocked to see every one of their back plates getting bigger and rounder too. They also see that their tail is now huge and full. Their back expanding outward, getting rounder and moving the back plates further from each other. The rate of swelling is only increasing, and it does not seem to be stopping anytime soon.
